bio

Growing up as a first-generation daughter of Trinidadian parents shaped not only my identity, but my deep interest in people and culture. The women in my family were my first style icons, teaching me that style is never just about clothing—it’s a language, a reflection of lived experience, and a way of telling stories.

Fashion, music, and storytelling became my entry points into understanding how culture moves and how influence is built. That curiosity naturally led me toward creative work rooted in collaboration.

My first job as an assistant stylist marked my entry into pop culture and my first opportunity to work directly with talent—translating personal narratives into visual expression and learning how brands, creatives, and individuals intersect in meaningful ways.

In 2012, I had the amazing opportunity to join Rain, a management and production company representing writers, directors, and artists in film and TV. This role had a profound impact on me, and further solidified my passion for connecting talent with entertainment opportunities.

From 2014 to 2018, I had the opportunity to work with a wide range of talent, from musicians, comedians and actors to photographers and DJs with a focus on historically underepresented talent. At Digital Brand Architects, I managed brand partnerships, connecting talent with brands that aligned with their voice and audience. At NEXT Management, I curated and developed an eclectic, globally minded roster, prioritizing emerging and underrepresented talent while shaping collaborations across North America, Europe, and Asia.

My work has since expanded beyond casting and talent partnerships to include social and digital strategy. I helped shape the social strategy for Oprah’s Book Club during the launches of Caste by Isabel Wilkerson and Deacon King Kong by James McBride—creating a platform that encouraged reflection, conversation, and community among readers. Then, during the pandemic, I joined Partners In Health, a health equity and social justice organization, where I launched the organization’s first celebrity program. I collaborated with talent like Padma Lakshmi, Rosario Dawson, and Winston Duke to elevate PIH’s mission. That work holds a special place in my heart and it showed me how the right voices can create change and make equity more than a conversation.

In my current role at Vox Media, I oversee talent bookings for branded content campaigns, working with celebrities, influencers, athletes, founders, experts, and real people. One of the throughlines in my work has been the responsibility and privilege of casting talent in a way that reflects the world as it truly is. The world is full of diverse, fascinating people, each with their own voice and journey. I love that every project I take on is an opportunity to bring those stories to light.
