Growing up, I was drawn to the glitz and glamour of television and billboards. This fascination sparked my journey into the fashion industry, where I began as an assistant stylist, working alongside A-list celebrities in Los Angeles. This early experience instilled in me a deep appreciation for attention to detail and a keen eye for the ever-evolving trends in fashion, film, music, and beyond.


As my career progressed, I found myself embracing my passion for the world of television during my time at Rain Management, a full-service management and production company representing artists in film, television, and digital media. Even though I was only at Rain for a year, this job had a profound impact on me as a person, as an entertainment professional, and as an advocate for talent. It solidified my passion for connecting talent with opportunities.


Between 2014 - 2020, I gained experience in managing brand partnerships for digital talent (at Digital Brand Architects) and then built a diverse roster of emerging musicians, actors, photographers, and DJs (at NEXT). During this period, I noticed a significant lack of interest in Black talent from brands across all industries. I knew I wanted to help change this and so I transitioned to work at ad agencies like United Entertainment Group, 72 & Sunny and R/GA to have a say in the castings. My clients included Verizon, Estee Lauder, Dove, Microsoft, Samsung, Target and more.


In 2020, I had the privilege of contributing to the mission of health equity as a vital member of the marketing team at Partners In Health, a global health and social justice organization. Here, I spearheaded the establishment of the organization's inaugural entertainment, ambassador, and influencer program. We attracted celebrity talent such as Padma Lakshmi, Rosario Dawson, and Winston Duke. My time at PIH holds a special place in my heart, as it reinforced the transformative power of celebrities in helping to make the world a more equitable place.


Currently, I am the Director of Talent Partnerships at Vox Media.
